Subaru WRX Auto

Subaru WRX Auto

Yes, its been a long wait for an update on this blog. Now let see... We have our kaki derrick introducing his friend who drives an 2007 Auto JDM Subaru WRX, putting in a VF35 Turbo upping his boost level. Pretty simple and straight forward.

Owner looks for good street drivability and power during overtaking, overall a sleek and nice to drive ride, not for tracking (though we still tune this for tracking) just normal day-to-day commuting, just a little faster than the stock STI. Thats the target.

'G' wise, we estimate a good 70kg of torque on his auto tranny. Not too much to kill it, just high enough to keep the gearbox happy. This turbo spools up around 3300 rpm, and hits max boost aroung 3800 rpm. If you own a STI yourself, you'll be surprised on how similar this ride will feel, just a little faster that all. Sam asks me if the car is fast or not. hahaha... I told him, fark, I also using the same setup, and I feel my car is slow after using the same thing for the last 3 years. How to tell owner his car is slow? hahaha...

Owner can tell from my face la, nothing to hide one... Derrick also told him my car same same as his... if the 2 of us were to drag, its gonna be boring... At least for me.

Now, this ride prize itself in the comfort department, if you have to fetch your kids around and need that added comfort and quietness, then this setup is perfect for you. Not too much modifications required, just a simple and straight forward setup.

Of course, if you wanna soup it up to 500 bhp, its gonna take more than this :)

Johnny just came in second from his last track race. hahaha... of course du lan la... but its like that, sometimes you win, sometimes you dun. Heard that there was some problems with his cambering which he has to settle before the next race.

Nowadays I tune cars wearing cycling attire liaoz... hahaha... coz, now Sam and myself plus Ah boy, Jackie and Derrick siaoz bicycle. On saturday, we started from workshop at 7pm, we went to pasir-ris, changi village for dinner, then to east coast macdonalds, and then via still road back to workshop. Of course, if the owner doesnt know us well enough, then a better dressing is required. Thats a requirement by sam, coz, he want the owner to feel good. Siaoz one... I wear what can help meh? Last time, I tune cars wearing slippers, the owner thought I first time tune cars hahahaha... owner scared. Ai yah, chin chai la... Sam keep farking me for wearing slippers and singlet... hiaz... life is like that one la...

We also have old time customer, PHD holder Mr Wilson joining us for cycling after fine-tuning session hahahaha.... Better than going for steak and kopi la... haha...
